This image is likely an emigration photograph of Patrick (standing) with his brother James (seated). Patrick would have been about 28 years old in 1851, and James would have been 21.</div> <bR> <div> Notice that the drapery to the left in the image is similar to that in <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#336699" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="id52.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Catherine, c. 1863?">another likely emigration photo</A></FONT>, possibly of their sister Catherine, who left Ireland at age 29 with her brother Mathew, age 24, in 1863.  And there is a later photo of<A HREF="id113.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="James in Illinois to His Brother William"> </A><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#336699" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="id113.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="James in Illinois to His Brother William">James with William, c. 1868</A>,</FONT> probably taken during William's first visit to James' home in Illinois.</div> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
